How to Play the Fractcentage Game
The Beginning
At the beginning of the game, there is a welcoming page. Here, students can find necessary information about how to play this game, which will also be explained in this part and in students' guide chapter with some pictures. Game begins after clicking button "Tamam"
Through the game, if students need to see the instruction page, they should click the button "?"
Introduction to Main Screen
In this screen, there is a part involving the question. The fraction here will keep changing throughout the game. Over the question, there is a part showing the total score the student got. In this game, students can get 100 points at maximum as their score. At the left top of the screen, there is a button "Yeniden Başla", which restarts the game when clicked. When students click this button, their total score turns out to be 0 (zero), too.
There is also a number line. It starts with zero percent ang goes up to one hundred percent. Every interval corresponds to ten percent.
At the zero percent point, a circular object that can move. Students are expected to move it into the corresponding percentage interval to the fraction on the number line.
After moving the point to some interval, students should click the button "Şansını Dene"
Feedback from the Game
According to the closeness of the point to the exact answer, students will get a feedback from the system. Here, the first picture is shows you the feedback that the system gives when the point is not close enpugh to the exact answer. Second one is for when it is close enough.
Students have one more right to decide the correct place that this point should be after the feedback. After they move this point one more time, they should click button "Kontrol Et" to see the results and get their scores.
Final Part
Here, all colors on the number line have different meanings:
Red: It means that your answer is irrelevant to the exact answer and you couldn't get any points.
Yellow: It means that you are pretty close to the exact answer (+ or - 10%) and you could get 3 points.
Green: It means that you are very to the exact answer (+ or - 5%) and you could get 5 points.
X Symbol: It shows you the exact answer on the number line.
After seeing the results, to get a new question, students are expected to click button "Yeni Kesir"
