Similar Circles Part 1:
1. Consider Circles A and B with radii AD and BC, respectively.
2. Translate one of the circles so that they share a common center (centers overlap). What appears to be true about the circles if we were to compare their sizes?
3. Next, dilate one of the circles by selecting a point on the circle and dragging it, so that they are the same size. What do you think we have shown by performing these transformations?
4. Go to Part 2 of this investigation to explore the relationships between circles further using some measurements.
