Distance in 3D

Welcome to the world of 3D! When using a 3D coordinate plane our coordinates are written as (x, y, z) where z is the "height" or the "up/down" (vertical) plane. Goal: Find the distance between A and B.
  • The number of UNIQUE solutions is given. Thus, a prism having LENGTH = 16, WIDTH = 14, and HEIGHT = 8.

What differences do you see between 2D and 3D? What do you wonder between 2D and 3D?

Which formula will you use to determine the distance AB?
