2. Look at the distances from point P to F1 and point P to F2. What can you observe on the sum of d1 and d2 when you move point P?
3. How can you relate the sum of the distances from point P to the two fixed points, to the length of AB?
4. Move F1 and F2, what happens to the graph of the ellipse?
5. Based on these observations, what is the definition of ellipse?
