Asjtarjan - layers

In following applet you can see the tiers in the muqarnas of the portal of the 14th century Friday Mosque of Asjtarjan (near Isfahan), that are accentuated by the coloring in the decoration. Around a 16-pointed star you surely recognise the common shapes of the square, the rhombus, the triangle, the almond and the little biped.
In the applet and the next picture you can see that regularity is broken by creating two mini-domes in the back on both sides.
