Rectangle is a Special Kind of a Parallelogram

Since Rectangle is a parallelogram, it holds all four properties of a parallelogram (opposite sides are parallel, opposite sides are congruent, opposite angles are congruent, diagonals bisect each other). But since it is a Special Type of a parallelogram, it should have additional properties. Can you notice which additional properties does a rectangle have?

The length of the diagonals of a rectangle ABDC are shown. Drag the vertices around and observe which elements change and which elements stay the same. Write your observations below.

Look at the rectangle PQRS. The measures of the angles are shown. Drag the vertices around and write your observations regarding the angle measures of the rectangle.

Discuss possible definitions of a parallelogram? Is it a unique definition or you can come up with 2,3,4?
