Activities inspired by GCSE exam questions
Just an idea at the moment - using GCSE exam questions (initially from the 2015 Edexcel Sample Assessment Materials) to inspire activities for mathematical thinking.

Edexcel paper 3 question 14b
Question about graph of changing temperature of cooling liquid, including ideas about rates of change which are new at GCSE from September 2015. I see this activity as having intended outcomes for the students around the ideas of modelling, rates of change and estimating instantaneous rates of change. I see this as a teacher-led activity with mini-whiteboards and student discussion points.
