Discovering the Trig Ratios APS
Directions:
1) For each triangle, label the sides using the text tool with A for adjacent, O for opposite, and H for hypotenuse RELATIVE TO THE MARKED ANGLE.
2) Sketch the triangles on the first column of your table. Be sure to mark and include the measure of the given angles.
3) Use the measure tool to measure the side lengths and record these in your table.
4) Calculate the trig ratios using these measurements and record these in your table.
5) Use these calculations to discover the relationships between the triangles and the trig ratios.
