Escher-like Tessellations: Parallelogram Translations

In the interactive figure, drag the points on the sides of the parallelogram. Opposite sides of the parallelogram are related by a translation. As you drag the points, what do you notice? To RESET the interactive worksheet and start over again, click on the small rotating arrows in the upper right corner of the interactive window.
