About GeoGebra
GeoGebra is more of an ecosystem than a program. For instance:
- You can upload stuff you do to GeoGebraTube. This is a great way to distribute your stuff to students. They can then use and interact with it in their browser. This requires you to sign up for an account, something which is really simple: https://accounts.geogebra.org/user/create
- You can steal things from GeoGebraTube. If you see something you like but want to change a little, then download it, change it and upload it. You may want to give credit to the one you stole it from but it is considered to be OK even if you don’t.
- You can run GeoGebra straight from your browser. Go to http://web.geogebra.org
- You can put many things on GeoGebraTube into GeoGebraBooks. These Books can contain constructions (yours and others), text, equations, images, video… This is in effect a simple publishing system for dynamic math.
- You can use GeoGebra collaboratively in GeoGebra Groups: https://www.geogebra.org/b/1809555. This is in effect a classroom management system. You may create instructions and quizzes for your students etc.
- You can use GeoGebra during exams: https://www.geogebra.org/blog/2016/02/geogebra-exam-mode/ and https://www.geogebra.org/exam
