Area description and formulas

Area is the total space and object or figure takes up. The main dimensions we use in area are Base, Height, Length , width and sometimes sides. To find the area of square is the length of one side squared. To find the area of a rectangle is length x width. And for triangles the formula is 1/2 Base x height.
