Algorithm for solving linear equations
- Remove all brackets and denominators.
- Transpose variable terms ot the left and constant terms to the right.
- Combine like terms, that is, write the equation in the form
- Divide both sides with the multiplier of the variable.
- Check your solution by substituting it into the original equation.
