Why Cycloid?
The Reason Why I select Cycloid Curve
In fact, I inspired this research from my calculus class ironically.
In our school, the course of Calculus is mandatory class for junior and senior students.
When I was junior last year, I learned Cycloid Curve while learning the chapter about parametric equations and polar coordinates.
As you can see from the three below pictures, there is a detailed description about cycloid curve and there is also the proof of parametric equation of cycloid.
While I learning about cycloid, I threw the question myself that how to explain cycloid well to others if they ask me later.
I kept my question for a long while and I learned GeoGebra from my instructor.
Then, I decided to visualize the cycloid curve with the use of GeoGebra.
