2D Impulse

a) A particle of mass 0.25 kg is moving with speed 3 when it receives an impulse of 5 Ns in the direction of motion. Find the new speed of the particle. b) A particle of mass 0.25 kg is moving with speed 7 when it receives an impulse of 3 Ns in the opposite direction to the motion. Find the new speed of the particle. c) A particle of mass 0.25 kg is moving with velocity (3i + 7j) when it receives the impulse (5i – 3j) N s. Find the speed of the particle immediately after the impulse.
