Type in the Std. Box: Any z value; must be: ( 1/Z ) from: ( .01 -- 4.5 ) or any Standard Deviation from : ( .2222 -- 100 ); You can move Mu up to .6 if you like to see what happens to the Z distribution.
This is a relationship using simple equations that gives the Normal Probability,
which then translates to Z values, at which point it can be shown: ( PrN1 Z ) = 1/ Std.
This work can be linked to work problems by: Z =(x-u)/Std.; the regular Z equation. And the (t- statistic) equation is also valid, when relating Z values to the Standard Deviation Distribution of the Normal Curve.
