How to solve: Standard Form

The equation for standard form is known as ax+by=c.  A, b, and c are integers and x and y are variables.  Often times, in order to solve an equation in standard form it is best to translate it into Slope Intercept Form (descriptions of this form can be found earlier in the book.)
