Orthocenter of a Triangle

Step 1: With a straight edge or ruler, make triangle ABC Step 2: Using your compass tool. Make a circle that has the radius being the length of line AC Step 3: Where the circle intersects with the triangle, name those points D and E Step 4: Now, using your compass tool again, make a circle with the center being point B that has a radius that is larger than half the length of line AD ( don't change your compass) Step 5: Use your unchanged compass, and make another circle with point D being the center Step 6: Where circle B and circle D intersect, call that point G Step 7: Using a ruler or straight edge, draw a line from point G to point C Step 8: Repeat steps 4-7 on points C and E Step 9: Where line BF and line CG intersect, name that point point H ( point H is the orthocenter of the triangle)
