Similarity of Figures in Videogame Design II: Mirror Image
For this project, imagine you are video game designer. Below, you see a stick-figure on the left. Your job is to construct what the stick-figure would look like (after having eaten the mushroom on the right side of the screen) heading back to the sewer pipe on the left. Have your new version of the character strike the same pose as the original. You can use the checkbox above the original stick figure's head to show the distances from each point in the figure to the red line on the right (how might this help you?). The new figure on the right should be similar (In the mathematical sense) to the initial figure. Getting the measurements to be perfect is almost impossible, but try to get close. Afterwards, if you'd like, you can even move the platform labeled "Move Me," so the new figure is standing on something, and not floating in midair!
